Walking Local Waters ~ Reclaiming Pilgrimage
by Scott Davidson, a story of walking with local waters in the Lagunitas Creek watershed with teens
Lagunitas Creek Watershed - Autumn 2017
Oh, what a day! Adolescents and pilgrimage? Really?!

Chico students of The Wildflower School walked this mini and potent water pilgrimage with Lagunitas Creek in my home watershed just before the Bioneers Conference. So simple, natural and meaningful.
After hiking up to Kent Lake, we shared favorite places and stories of water, a kind of invocation into the center of our circle...
They found a stick, touched string to water with sincere wishes, then tied the two together to co-create a walking staff...

Thank you Kelly Munson for inviting me to co-lead this with you, and to Kate Bunney for being such a good friend of water everyday!
